1 thought on “Hydrogen cars unlikely to be the future of motoring amid ‘explosion’ concerns”
The so-called “expert” in this article thinks that Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles are fueled with “liquid” hydrogen. Wrong. Hydrogen vehicles are fueled with pressurized hydrogen gas. For hydrogen to be stored in a liquid state requires reducing the hydrogen’s temperature to cryogenic levels that is not even possible in a car or truck running on hydrogen fuel. The pressurized hydrogen gas tanks for vehicle use are designed to withstand a vehicle crash. They will not “explode”.
